From childhood to adulthood, we all enjoy playing with things that bring joy to our lives.
Athletes play and maximize their talents in sports. Their enthusiasm exudes in the results of the game. Speaking for myself, I enjoy playing with new gadgets. Gadgets present learning curves that pushes my soul to new heights and levels of excitement. For my wife, it’s a little different. She enjoys taking blueprints of homes and reconstructing them to fit her style. She gets excited playing around with this type of stuff.
But one thing they I’ve learned over the years is to not to PLAY WITH LOVE. There was a popular song entitled: “I have learned to respect the power of LOVE.” LOVE is a precious commodity that deserves its rightful place.
One of the reasons we experience such physical, psychological and emotional baggage in our relationships is by not giving LOVE enough reverence.
When we don’t know the purpose of a thing, we will abuse (ab-normal) use of it. LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind, LOVE does not envy and LOVE does not boast, you finish the rest….
It bothers me to witness a person dangling LOVE over another to manipulate, but imagine what two people can do together when they understand, respect and exercise LOVE properly. The potential for their relationship could be limitless.
Keep a joyful spirit, and LOVE with wreckless abandonment.
