As I sit and think about these two words (GRACE & MERCY), they remind me of a marriage. The joys, disappointments, victories and struggles all shape the realities of relating to one another.

The interactions between each other is a day-by-day maturing process, and we must display GRACE AND MERCY. So many times we hold the other person to some unrealistic expectations instead of extending them the GRACE to make mistakes and the MERCY to not hold it over their heads.

Part of the goal in connecting with your spouse is to exchange your strengths and eliminate the weaknesses. For example, when my wife says something that cuts me, I must give her GRACE because I love her and my tongue can be sharp as well. The next step is showing MERCY because Christ gives us MERCIES which are new everyday.

Love you guys, see you next week….
